Some sessions pull on your heartstrings a little more than others and this was one of them.

This beautiful mama is expecting her last baby, and this time around, she decided it was finally her turn to soak in the moment and capture the magic of pregnancy. She shared with me that she never had maternity photos taken with her other little ones, and this session was her way of slowing down, honoring her journey, and celebrating this final chapter of motherhood.

And what made it even more special? She’s letting the gender be a surprise. There’s something so raw and beautiful about not knowing, about trusting the process and letting life unfold in its own time. That joy, that anticipation, that mystery, it brought a soft glow to every photo we captured.

She radiated strength and softness, confidence and calm everything that motherhood is made of. We laughed, we paused for deep breaths, and we talked about the bittersweet feeling of closing a chapter, knowing it’s the last time you’ll feel those kicks from the inside or fold tiny onesies fresh out of the dryer.
