Whether you’d like to capture your sweet new baby alone or include the whole family, my newborn sessions are thoughtfully designed to preserve this special chapter of your story.

With two beautifully crafted package options, you can choose an intimate, baby-focused session or a full experience that includes soft, heartfelt portraits with parents and siblings.

Each session is calm, baby-led, and filled with care, ensuring a relaxed environment that allows genuine moments to unfold—resulting in timeless images you’ll cherish for years to come.

About My Sessions

Every newborn session is held in my commercial studio located in Bardstown, Kentucky, just a short drive from Louisville. The studio has been thoughtfully designed with new families in mind — peaceful, private, and fully equipped to make your experience as comfortable as possible.

Inside, you’ll find a carefully curated collection of props, baskets, textured wraps, soft blankets, delicate headbands (many handmade by me), and cozy teddies. Each item has been chosen to help create a gallery that feels timeless, artistic, and uniquely yours. The space is temperature controlled to keep you comfortable, with gentle heating to ensure your baby stays calm and content throughout the session.

With over 10 years of experience— and nearly a decade working full-time — I’ve had the joy and honor of photographing hundreds of babies and families. I understand the natural rhythms of newborns, the patience it takes to keep everyone relaxed, and how to capture those fleeting, in-between moments that become the most cherished memories. You and your baby are in experienced, caring hands.

Newborns are ideally photographed between 8 to 20 days old, when they are still beautifully sleepy and curled. However, meaningful images can be captured at any age — from 5 days up to 5 months. For babies over 10 weeks, I adjust the session flow and styling to fit their stage, often creating stunning galleries with open eyes and growing personalities.

If your baby has spent time in the NICU or special care, we will schedule your session as soon as they are ready. It’s never too late to preserve these moments.

Sessions are held on weekdays only, and I take on a limited number of newborns each month to ensure every family receives the time, care, and flexibility they deserve. A 50% non-refundable retainer is required at booking to secure your date, with the remaining balance due on the day of your session.

All final gallery images are carefully selected and professionally edited by Autumn Pine Photography. Payment plans are available upon request.

Scheduling begins after your baby’s delivery. Sessions are normally held within two weeks of birth.

Designed for originality: We use premium, handcrafted props to create a personalized and one-of-a-kind newborn session

Safety First: With specialized training in newborn posing and safety, I use posing aids, heaters, cushions, and carefully monitor your baby’s cues to ensure their comfort and well-being.

Custom Sets: Select from a variety of backdrops—neutral tones, vibrant hues, rustic wooden props, and more—to craft a personalized setup that reflects your style.

Attention to Detail: Each element of the shoot is thoughtfully curated to create a refined, high-end gallery that captures beautiful, timeless moments.
