Remy’s Wild One Cake Smash Session | Bardstown KY Baby Photographer

It’s always an honor when families return to the studio, and this session was extra special—sweet Remy is officially ONE! Exactly one year ago, I photographed his newborn session, and now here he is, full of personality and curls, back in the studio for his first birthday.

For his cake smash session, we set up a “Wild One” theme with earthy tones, wooden textures, greenery, and soft fairy lights that gave the set a cozy woodland feel. Remy wasn’t too into his cake (sometimes that frosting just isn’t a hit!), but he absolutely loved splashing around in the tub afterward. His expressions during the splash session were pure joy and made for some of my favorite photos from the day!

These milestone moments pass so quickly, which is why I love being able to freeze them in time for families to treasure forever. Whether they love the cake or just the tub time, it’s all part of their unique little journey.
